the roof terrace apartment
This design apartment is on the three top floors in the so called rear house of the building, which makes it a very quiet place. It is also a very light and spacious place. There is a big sunny roof terrace with a typical Dutch view overlooking the old rooftops of central Amsterdam. The old wooden beams, doors, floor, staircases are all left in their original form and will give you a feeling as if you have stepped back in time. But still you will find all modern conveniences.
If you are travelling with a group of people, you may wish to rent this apartment in combination with the Patio Apartment or the Guestroom.
design apartment
The apartment has a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms (one in the romantic attic), one bathroom and the aforementioned nice roof terrace. There is a private entrance.
The living room has a tv, a dvd/cd player and an internet access point. There are books to read and a few dvd's to watch. The kitchen has everything you need, like a microwave oven, a dishwasher, coffee-maker, electric kettle and a toaster.
In the bathroom you will find the washer and dryer. A hairdryer is provided, as are towels and bed linen.
The bedrooms both have non-separable beds of 1.60 x 2.00 meter (5.6 by 6.6 ft). From both bedrooms you can use the bathroom without disturbing the privacy of the other bedroom.
internet access, smoking & pets
There is an internet access (ADSL) available, free of charge. The Terrace apartment is strickly non-smoking and pets are not allowed, but for those wish to enjoy smoking, there is always the roof terrace.
