By Train: Most guests will be arriving by train at Central Station Amsterdam. Once off the train, exit the main hall
on the city side (away from the water front), where all the buses, taxis, and trams are. Turn to your left, and walk along the main station building to where all
the bus stops are. Walk on and then turn right across a bridge. You are now at the beginning of the Prins Hendrikkade. Turn left, and walk on for 200 meters. You
will find the house on your right hand side, directly opposite a white ship called the Botel. You have arrived. Please use the top doorbell with our names on it.
The entrire walk takes about five minutes.
arriving by car
There are many routes from the Ring to the city centre but the easiest one to explain is when you take exit S116 from the Ring to the Centrum. Drive through the IJ tunnel, keeping to the right. As soon as you clear the tunnel, keep right, then turn right. You are now on the Prins Hendrikkade. The apartment is 200 metres on the left hand side of the road. Parking is available in the area at a cost of around € 35.00 per day (ANWB parking). If you park your car aproximately 500 meters away it will cost you around € 28.00 per day (Markenhoven Parking) but the cheapest solution is to park your car at the Transferium Arena in Amsterdam Zuid-Oost. This parking garage is located underneath the sports stadium and will cost you € 5.50 per day including two free tickets for the metro to the city center. From highway A2 (from Utrecht to Amsterdam) you will find the Transferium (Arena) at the first exit after crossing the A9.
